Well, after only some minor adjustments and a few tweaks, I think the new mailing service, MailChimp, is ready for its second, and probably final test—and, this is it! As I detailed in the first test, please contact me directly or contact The Gay Publishing Company if you have any problems at all in viewing or opening this message.
And, now the important message, which conveniently disguises the test.
Our cohorts at Embrem Entertainment have just announced that their new gay film, Between Love & Goodbye had the fourth-highest per-screen income of all films playing over the January 30–February 2 weekend! Yes, that’s in the entire country! Fourth highest!
Writer/director/producer Casper Andreas and Embrem Entertainment also released the hits Slutty Summer in 2004 and A Four Letter Word in 2007.
“There are a lot of wonderful movies playing in theaters at this time of year so we knew it would be tough to get audiences to find our little film,” says Andreas. “I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who made it out and supported the film this past weekend. . . . As you might know it is getting more and more difficult to open independent films in theaters. This is especially true for gay-themed films, and we need all the support we can get . . . Thank you!”
To that, I say, thanks for giving us a reason to come out! Casper, your films are well worth the trip. The publishing world is lucky to have you.
For a trailer, musical selections, a synopsis, and current schedule, visit the official Web site for the movie at www.lovegoodbye.com or by linking from Embrem Entertainment’s site.
With that, we painlessly conclude our second test!
